Quality, Methods & Reuse Lead - Africa Position Summary The Quality, Methods & Reuse Lead is a Senior Manager-level role responsible for establishing, maintaining, and enforcing KPMG T&I's delivery quality standards, methodology frameworks, and reuse discipline across all five capability blocks. This role ensures that KPMG T&I's delivery approach is consistently excellent - not dependent on individual talent variation - and that the intellectual assets developed through delivery experience are systematically codified and reused.The Quality and Methods Lead is the structural mechanism that prevents quality from degrading as delivery volumes grow. Key roles and responsibilities:

(a) Quality Framework and Delivery Standards (50%)

▪ Design, document, and maintain KPMG T&I's quality management framework, including deliverable standards, peer review processes, client acceptance criteria, and quality gate requirements.

▪ Conduct quality reviews on client-facing deliverables across all capability blocks, ensuring consistency, accuracy, and alignment with KPMG's professional standards.

▪ Develop and enforce KPMG T&I's deliverable templates and style standards, covering presentations, reports, architecture documents, and executive briefings.

▪ Maintain KPMG T&I's methodology framework for all core service offerings ensuring each capability block has a defined, documented, and consistently applied delivery approach.

▪ Manage the T&I quality assurance review process for major deliverables including pre-submission review, client feedback incorporation, and post-engagement quality assessment.

(b) Reuse Discipline and Methods Adoption (35%)

▪ Work with the Asset Enablement Lead to ensure that delivery assets are structured, documented, and accessible in a way that makes reuse the path of least resistance for delivery teams.

▪ Measure and track methodology adoption rates across the T&I portfolio identifying teams and engagements where bespoke approaches are being used instead of KPMG's standard methods.

▪ Conduct post-engagement retrospectives capturing lessons learned, methodology gaps, and improvement opportunities from completed engagements.

▪ Drive a culture of reuse within KPMG T&I celebrating contributions to the asset library and recognising teams that demonstrate high reuse rates.

▪ Collaborate with the Tooling Lead to embed quality checks and methodology prompts into KPMG T&I's delivery tooling stack.

(c) Capability Development and Learning (15%)

▪ Design and deliver KPMG T&I's internal methodology training programme ensuring all delivery professionals understand and apply KPMG's delivery standards.

▪ Maintain KPMG T&I's competency framework for delivery roles defining the knowledge, skills, and behaviours expected at each grade.

▪ Contribute to KPMG T&I's external thought leadership on delivery excellence, methodology innovation, and quality management in technology consulting.

Academic/ Professional qualifications and Experience:

▪ Relevant degree in Business, Technology, Quality Management, or a related field.

▪ ISO 9001 Lead Auditor, Six Sigma Green/Black Belt, or equivalent quality management certification preferred.

▪ PMP or PRINCE2 certification preferred.

▪ Minimum 8 years of experience in technology consulting, with at least 3 years in a quality management, methodology, or practice development role.

▪ Demonstrated experience designing and implementing quality frameworks in a professional services or consulting environment.

▪ Strong technical writing capability and able to produce clear, structured methodology documentation.
